Asian stocks rise as Fed rate-hike expectations ease; Singapore hits record high

SINGAPORE — Most emerging Asian stocks rose on Friday, while Singapore’s benchmark index reached a record high. Easing expectations of an imminent US interest-rate increase boosted demand for riskier assets.
